The founder of Shute Consulting Engineering, PLLC, Mr. Lyle Shute has over thirty-five years of experience in mechanical, electrical, plumbing (MEP) engineering and project management. He has expertise in private, governmental, commercial, industrial, residential, educational, and institutional type projects. Mr. Shute’s expertise includes overall project management, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire protection design, equipment selections, technical specifications, control systems design, feasibility studies, and building system analysis.

Mark joined the firm in 2023. In his role as project engineer, he performs design calculations, MEP system layouts, field survey work, CAD design/drafting and BIM/Revit modeling, plumbing and lighting calculations. Mark also assists with Construction Administration, shop drawing and submittal review, and construction field observations. Mark is currently pursuing his professional engineer licensure.
